ABSTRACT The Reproductive Period of a woman begins at menarche and ends in menopause. Pregnancy is a physiologic event where there is a phenomenon of maternal adaptation to the increasing demand of growing fetus. Anemia during pregnancy is a global public health issue facing the world today especially in the developing countries like India. Maternal anemia is considered as the risk factor for poor pregnancy outcomes and become dangerous to the life of fetus.
