A Review on Effective Management of Uterine Fibroids

ABSTRACT Background: Uterine fibroids (Leiomyoma) are the most common form of benign uterine tumours in myometrium. Clinical presentations include abnormal bleeding, pelvic mass, pelvic pain, infertility and obstetric complications. Etiology of uterine fibroids is not known but may be caused by many risk factors like low intakes of fruit, vegetables, vitamin-D. Objective: Objective of this study is to create awareness of uterine fibroids which is mainly due to the present lifestyle.
