ABSTRACT The lungs are the primary organs affected by tuberculosis (TB), a basic infectious illness. A major global health concern and one of the leading causes of death is tuberculosis (TB). The causative agent of tuberculosis, Mycobacterium tuberculosis, is presently responsible for the disease, which affects almost one-third of the global population . The World Health Organisation (WHO) has created a brand-new method for controlling tuberculosis called DOTS (directly observed therapy, short-course), which involves administering a particular mix of anti-TB medications.
