ABSTRACT This study examines the risk-return dynamics of chit funds and Systematic Investment Plans (SIPs) with reference to Coimbatore City. Using a structured questionnaire and statistical analysis, the study highlights investor behaviour, risk perception, and return expectations. The findings reveal key differences in the risk-adjusted returns of chit funds and SIPs, offering insights into their viability for different investor profiles.
