A study of different water bodies of North Bihar (Darbhanga) exploring angiospermic aquatic and wetland plants

Author Name : Neetu, Abhilasha Kumari

ABSTRACT Aquatic angiosperms are a major part of the world’s flora and include about 79 families and 380 genera (Cook et.al 1974, Sardaret.al. 2013). The aquatic part may be in shallow water or muddy substratum. Such habitats are banks of canals, river, periphery or water bodies which are mostly in earthen dams and partly in masonarydams, drainage ditches and water near ponds.
