"A Study on Consumer Perception towards Digital Payment."

ABSTRACT The rapid advancement of technology and the widespread availability of the internet have facilitated the growth of the digital economy, electronic commerce, and electronic banking on a global scale. Initiatives such as Digital India, aimed at promoting cashless transactions and transforming society into a digital ecosystem, have further propelled the adoption of digital payment systems. Following the implementation of demonetization in India, there has been a significant surge in digital payment usage, marked by the introduction of various platforms including digital wallets, Unified Payments Interface (UPI), Aadhaar Enabled Payment System (AEPS), QR code payments, and BHIM apps. This study explores consumers' perceptions of digital payments through a structured questionnaire administered in selected cities across Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka. The research seeks to understand consumer attitudes and behaviors towards digital payment systems
