ABSTRACT Street food has become an integral part of urban food culture, offering affordability, convenience, and diverse flavors. This study explores consumer perception towards street food in Tirupur City, focusing on their attitudes, preferences, and the factors influencing their choices. The research aims to assess consumer attitudes toward street food, identify key determinants affecting their preferences, and analyze their choices. Factors such as taste, price, hygiene, convenience, and social influence play a crucial role in shaping consumer preferences. The study employs a mixed-method approach, incorporating surveys and interviews to gain insights into consumer behavior. Findings from this research will help street vendors, policymakers, and food safety authorities enhance the quality and appeal of street food while addressing consumer concerns. This study contributes to understanding the evolving street food culture and its significance in the local food economy
