A Study on Opportunities and Challenges of Sector Market in India

ABSTRACT Indian Economy is in a great transition. It was an agrarian economy then it moved over to rely on manufacturing strength & now it has been the turn of the services sector to dominate its contribution to the GDP. Service industry is an industry that part of the economy which creates services rather than tangible objects. The service sector, also known as the tertiary sector, is the third tier in the three-sector economy. Instead of the product production, this sector produces services like advice, experience and discussion. Present paper aims to shed light on the opportunities available and issues faced by the service sector in India.
