ABSTRACT Hand hygiene is crucial for children's health and well-being, playing a vital role in preventing the spread of infections and illnesses. By establishing good handwashing habits early in life, children can protect themselves and others from common ailments like diarrhea, respiratory infections, and foodborne illnesses. Teaching children about hand hygiene, including when and how to wash their hands, can significantly improve their overall health and contribute to a healthier environment.
