“A Vintage Solution for Modern Needs: The Richmond Crowns”

ABSTRACT In conservative dentistry, rebuilding severely shattered or damaged crown structure following endodontic therapy is a challenging undertaking. A crown with severely deteriorated crown structure, minimal overjet, and steep incisal guidance cannot be restored using a standard post and core procedure followed by crown repair. Given that the Richmond crown has a post, it is more advised in these circumstances. It has a ceramic front and is prepared as a single piece. We commonly see teeth with very little or no structurally damaged clinical crown section. It is difficult to establish support and retention of the restoration in such circumstances. This case report involving the rehabilitation of anterior teeth that have undergone endodontic treatment and suffered structural impairments are examined. Following endodontic therapy, repairing a crown's significantly fractured or damaged structure requires.
