Advancements in Radar Technology

ABSTRACT
Detection had a significant role in human history, Leading from the early ages to the present date. Radar is arguably one of the most important inventions in this field. Started with the main purpose of military application, modern radar has branched itself to many other fields. Radar technology is being used in many industries in finding the precise location and many other features. Radar is used in Air and ground traffic control, military services, Marine technologies, surveillance systems, Planetary motions, and other systems where detection mechanism in radar is crucial. Since technology is developing in great trend, a Phased array antenna was developed it leads to the development of AESAs and PESAs which are extensively used in fields where accuracy is dominant. The development of PESAs led to the reduction of defects faced in Radar technology. Further, when AESAs were developed, accuracy and Jamming resistance increased. With innovations being made every day and technology reaching new heights, Radar technology is set to grow exponentially leading towards detailed tracking and detection.
