ABSTRACT Emergency reactions to situations involving disasters need to be quick. Since traditional technologies have proven unreliable in such time-sensitive situations, there has been a surge in interest in wireless-based emergency response systems development of affordable emergency communication systems for remote places, particularly those with challenging topography (hills, forests, etc.) and intermittent or nonexistent network access Novel technologies such as SMS broadcasts, community-based systems, mesh networks, solar-powered hubs, portable base stations, UAV communication relays, offline messaging apps, VHF/UHF radios, and integration with existing infrastructure. In this investigation, we will delve into a detailed discussion of emergency communication network technology, including cellular networks, satellite networks, ad hoc networks, and wireless private networks.
