Ageing Women: Health and Accessibility to Health Care

„Gender‟ and „ageing‟ have become the core of any genuine development concern of the national and the international level. The paper, in hand, is an attempt to analyse ageing from gender perspective with the ultimate focus on the health and related issues of the aged women. The aim is to highlight the world scenario of how the gender based disparities have influenced their conditions. An attempt has also been made to analyse the situation at the India level. The paper concludes with the findings and recommendations.
