Alzheimer’s Disease Detection using Machine Learning Techniques in 3D MR Images

ABSTRACT

Alzheimer's disease is an irreversible, progressive brain disorder that slowly impairs memory and thinking skills and eventually the ability to perform the simplest tasks. In recent years, the diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease (AD) has become one of the most difficult problems in the medical field. This paper proposes a study of the 3D brain MR image slices for AD diagnosis. CNN algorithm or machine learning techniques are used for AD Diagnosis. The main goal of this project is to detect Alzheimer's disease at an early stage by our system and save time. Our system saves the cost of patients.
