ABSTRACT

Endothelium is present in the inside of blood vessels. Endothelium is a thin layer of cell lines this cells are endothelial cells. Endothelium is affected condition is known as endothelial dysfunction. Dysfunction of endothelium is a Non-Obstructive artery disease (CAD) but without heart artery blockages and the surface of heart present in the large blood vessels are constrict (narrow) instead of dilating (opening). This condition is affected by most women than men and causes chronic chest pain. Endothelial cells important role of vascular homeostasis, adhesion and platelet aggregation and another one important role of regulate the blood pressure, blood fluidity and fibrinolysis. Endothelial cells are releasing substance that control the opening and closing of vascular tone. This vascular tone determine the blood pressure. Endothelial dysfunction occurs when there is enough nitric oxide (NO).Nitric oxide present inside the wall of Blood vessel. Endothelium itself makes nitric oxide, and it is act as a vasodilator, just opening up your blood vessels for your blood to flow freely. Increase in vascular stress due to the presence of hypertension including the bioavailability of nitric oxide during the alteration of vascular tone. Endothelium is controls fluids and electrolytes in your blood, and helps your body clot blood when needed. Keep toxins exit of tissues, Regulate the tissue inflammation. In this review endothelial dysfunction mechanism can be discussed. And their strategies of Anti-oxidant present in the natural source are used to the management of endothelial dysfunction.
