ABSTRACT Building collapses in India have been a recurring and devastating issue over the past 15 years, causing significant loss of life and property. The analysis aims to uncover patterns in structural failures, highlighting the need for stricter regulatory frameworks, advanced engineering solutions, and proactive maintenance strategies. Recommendations are proposed to enhance structural safety, focusing on regulatory compliance and the use of quality-assured construction techniques to prevent future collapses
