Attendance Monitoring System Using Facial Recognition and Web Technologies

ABSTRACT Accurate attendance tracking plays a vital role in both educational and organizational environments, supporting accountability, efficient resource management, and overall productivity. However, traditional methods like manual roll calls, biometric attendance system and barcode scanning systems are often inefficient, time-consuming, and vulnerable to manipulation or human error. To overcome these challenges, this research proposes a Facial Recognition-Based Attendance Monitoring System that automates and streamlines the process using modern computer vision techniques integrated with cameras and a web application for real-time attendance recording and tracking.
