Indian automobile industry is the fourth largest industry in the world. Automobile industry includes both automobiles and auto component manufacturing at the end of 2019 India was one fourth largest manufacturer of passenger cars and seventh largest manufacturer of commercial vehicles. As a whole auto industry in India is expected to reach between USD $251.4 – $282.8 billion by 2026.
