“Awareness about Mother Milk Bank among the Citizen of Vadodara”

ABSTRACT

Human milk banks in India are not so widely popular. In the city of Vadodara there are only two hospitals providing this kind of services. The basic information and awareness about human milk banks in city of Vadodara can be understood by this research survey. The E-questions sheet was developed to understand the awareness, its source and if they have donated milk. Data collected through this and with other resources available on web and books. This paper shows the importance, concept of human milk bank as well as the local awareness about it among women of Vadodara city in Gujarat.
