Awareness on Effects of Noise Hazards among Laundry Workers in Hospital Setups in Mangalore

ABSTRACT
Workers who are exposed to high levels of noise are at a risk of noise- induced hearing loss (NIHL). This study aimed to check the awareness of effects of noise hazards in laundry workers. A questionnaire was given to 30 laundry workers and results showed that laundry workerswere unaware of the health effects of noise and its health hazards.
