Bi-Directional EV Charger for V2G and G2V

ABSTRACT
The growth within the electrical vehicle state has been supported the event of car to grid networking innovation. The vehicle to grid(G2V) innovation permits two-way power stream between the battery of electrical vehicle and grid. This permits the peak load shaving, load levelling voltage regulation and improvement of the stability of the power system or strength. In this venture we have designed the Bi-Directional battery charger which can locally be available in the market and emphasize on the Grid to vehicle(G2V) and as well as Vehicle to grid(V2G) and it enables us to use the Vehicle to home advances. During the V2G condition the energy which is stored in the batteries of the EV is fed back to the power grid adding to the power system. In this paper the equipment involved in the bi-directional charger topology is also discussed
