Clean India and green India are the two sides of one coin i.e. sustainable development in Ndia. clean India or swatch Bharat Aviyan (SBA) Was the dreams of the father of the nationa. Mahtma gandhi was mindful of the poor position of indian rural people at that time and he dreamt of a cleaner india, where he emphasized on cleanliness andsanitatio as an intact function ofsurviving in june 2014 the then presidnet of india pranab mukhejree in his address to parliament said for ensuring hygiene waste managmenet and sanitation across the nationa a swach bharat Mission will be established. This will be our tribute to mahatma gandhi on his 150^th birth anniversary to be celebrated in the year 2019 Recently the narendra Modi Government is trying to establish the swacha Bharat Mission Green Indian Mission is a national Mission Under eight mission of the National action plan on climate change (NAPCCrecognizes that climate change phenomena will seriously affect and alter the distribution, type oand quality of natural biological resources of the country and the associated livelihoods of the people lying close to the models of sustainable Development this paper is an attempt to magnify the Green and clean India as a model of sustainable Development.
