ABSTRACT Karnabadhirya refers to impared hearing or partial deafness caused by vitiated Vata, which disrupts or obstructs the auditory pathway, leading to symptoms such as tinnitus and difficulty in perceving sound. These symptoms relates with Sensorineural Hearing Loss (SNHL), a condition involving impairment of the cochlea or auditory nerve that results in poor sound clarity and difficulty in understanding speech.Noise pollution, ageing, viral infections, systemic disorders, and certain ototoxic drugs causes Sensorineural hearing loss in patients which is increasing day by day.
