ABSTRACT

Terminalia chebula Linn. (Haritaki) and Cyperus rotundus Linn. (Musta) are two important medicinal plants extensively used in Ayurvedic medicine for their diverse therapeutic properties. The present study was undertaken to comparatively evaluate these drugs using physicochemical and chromatographic parameters, with the objective of establishing reliable standards for their identification, purity, and quality control.
