ABSTRACT Due to changing demands for cost effectiveness, safety, and environmental concerns, high-performance materials have received a lot of attention in civil industrial research in recent years. Fiber-reinforced concrete (FRC) has emerged as one of the most promising materials among them. Its benefits are mostly attributed to characteristics like increased tensile strength, enhanced durability, increased energy absorption capacity, and improved toughness (in terms of flexural and compressive strength).
