Concept of Green Library and It’s Significant Today

ABSTRACT The term Green Library has an important meaning in these days. Green library is another name for sustainable library. New greening strategies in library should be implemented using moderate natural resources. Building a green library using library 2.0 is now easy and streamlined. Environmental goals areSMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Time – Bound) and the library tasks to reduce its own defeatist influence on the earth. This article covers green library concept, objectives, features, aliments, major initiatives of India and the Globally and suggestion for making the library green.
