Constructing an Image Captioning System Using CNN and LSTM Architectures

ABSTRACT The demand for automated visual captioning tools has grown significantly, driving the development of systems capable of generating descriptive captions for images using deep learning techniques. This research presents an artificial intelligence-driven image annotation generator that integrates computer vision and natural language processing through a hybrid data stream approach. The proposed system employs Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) for object recognition and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) networks for sequential caption generation, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of visual content.
