Dam Water Level Alerting and Monitoring System Using Iot With Machine Learning

ABSTRACT : The Dam Automation Project integrates NodeMCU Microcontroller with various sensors including rain, ultrasonic, temperature, humidity, and soil moisture sensors to monitor dam conditions. Utilizing machine learning algorithms, it processes sensor data to make informed decisions on gate operations. The system employs an SG90 servo motor-based linear actuator to physically control gate opening. Data collected by the microcontroller is transmitted to MongoDB Cloud for storage. A dedicated webpage retrieves data from the database and presents it alongside predictions generated by the machine learning model trained on historical datasets. This innovative system offers real-time monitoring and decision-making capabilities, enhancing dam management efficiency and responsiveness to changing environmental conditions
