ABSTRACT With the advent of AI in dance , we are witnessing the confluence of art and technology .This paper explores the intersection of artificial intelligence and choreography across Indian classical and international dance forms. By analyzing AI-driven tools and platforms developed by individuals and startups worldwide, it evaluates how technology is transforming movement creation, learning, and performance. Through case studies and critical reflection, the paper examines the advantages, limitations, and ethical implications of AI choreography. Particular attention is paid to the risks of cultural dilution, creative dehumanization, and authorship disputes, while also acknowledging the role of AI in democratizing access to dance education and enhancing inclusivity. We have also explored AI’s application in preserving endangered dance forms that are losing relevance across communities and its implementation in cross-track choreography.
