Design and Fabrication of Scissor Lift Using Lead Screw Mechanism

ABSTRACT

In project, a Scissor Lift is operated by a "Lead Screw Mechanism". Lift straight forward automaton that raises a component or object from the ground to a specific height in order to carry out a specific task with the least amount of work possible. In this project, the analysis of a scissor lifting mechanism based on the lead screw mechanism concept is covered. In order to keep the lift's cost down, the design is created with the idea that it will be mechanically operated. Additionally, such a design might make the lift smaller and is appropriate for medium-sized projects. Traditionally, a scissor lifting mechanism is used to lift a vehicle, materials in industries, elevators in buildings, home lifts, and many other things.
