Design of Office Building and Analysis of Different Refrigerants using Cool Pack Software

Abstract Designing, drafting of an office building and also doing analysis of different refrigerants using “COOL PACK SOFTWARE”. Designing, drafting of an office building and the analysis work on air cooled chiller system with different refrigerants has to be done. Vapor compression refrigeration cycle is used for cooling water. Capacity of compressor is taken same for the different refrigerants used for analysis. During analysis work different refrigerants are used such as R22, R600a, R290, R407c, R410.theoretical „CoP‟ of the system with R22 refrigerant for air cooled chiller and theoretical CoP of the system with R600a refrigerants are calculated based on the result analysis, for the same capacity of air-cooling system theoretical CoP of R600a is higher than R22(R600a > R22 in terms of CoP). It means R600a is also an alternative refrigerant for air cooled chilling system and also for HVAC system.
