Design of “Smart Thief Detector” using Arduino Uno and Ultrasonic Sensors

ABSTRACT Security is a growing concern in modern society necessitating the development of efficient and affordable security systems. This project named „Smart Thief Detector‟ enhances the necessity of security by detecting unauthorized movements in a simple and very user-friendly way by using a very simple and authentic module. The project comprises of components such as Arduino uno, Ultrasonic Sensors, a Node MCU (if necessary), some LEDs and a Buzzer to give an alarm. It uses Ultrasonic sensor to measure distance and sense some unauthorized movements in a defined area. When an intruder passes nearby the Ultrasonic sensors, the sensor senses the movement of the intruder and immediately passes the information to the Arduino UNO and then the UNO transfers the information to the buzzer and then finally the buzzer buzzes and make a warning to the user. Hence this is the working of this whole project. The model is very cost efficient and market feasible and very useful in modern society.
