With the fast pacing world and the rapid development in technology, human life is being made more comfortable and relaxing. But this is not the end yet, better technology is being developed every single day and adapting to it will only make human life easier than before.
In our Country it's very difficult to provide LPG through Pipes to each and every home due to a variety of factors and also because the production of LPG is very short.
These days, we are having an advance system of LPG cylinder booking through IVRS or online. This system is very difficult for the illiterate and busy scheduled people to book a cylinder every month when it’s about to finish. The major problem that the user faces is to not know when the LPG cylinder runs out of gas which causes a delay in booking and receiving it. Though, we are having an IVRS system for booking, but even in this system the customer has to undergo a few steps and select the right options in accordance with the automated voice. Many people have difficulties in booking the cylinder due to their busy schedule, lack of knowledge, due to the busy customer services, technical problems and so on.This paper proposes a system which will make the entire LPG cylinder booking automated without any human intervention. The proposed system of Automated cylinder booking has a feature by which it continuously monitors the weight of the LPG gas and alerts the user and the agent when the level of gas reaches a particular threshold by sending an SMS on the registered mobile number.
