ABSTARCT

Paraphilic disorders are one of the under researched topics in psychiatry. Among Paraphilic disorders, Exhibitionistic disorder is reporting very often, we can see pieces of the news most of the time.  Exhibitionistic disorder is a mental disorder that causes a person to expose his sexual organ to others  usually people they have never met and are not expecting it. .Exhibitionistic disorder not only affects the social and  psychological life of the patient  but also  disrupting their everyday life.. For preventing the consequences  the primary requirement is  to increase the knowledge about the  disorder. In most situations, Exhibitionistic disorder is under diagnosed or misrepresented. It is very important that Individuals  with Exhibitionistic disorder  has to be treated.  so that  risk factors of this disorder such as  anti social personality disorder, alcohol misuse and paedophilic sexual preferences can be reduced.
