ABSTRACT
Agriculture is one of the fields that form the backbone of Indian Economic System. About 70% of Indian population rely on farming for their livelihood. However, regardless of large and strong production across all agricultural sectors, Indian farmers face earnings insecurity. The primary cause of their distress is that their access is limited to only nearby farm markets and inability to connect with large market all over the country. Farmers have to face lot of plenty problems due to lack of knowledge, poverty, unawareness of different schemes, marketing rates etc. They don’t get any ideas about selling their products so that they can earn more money.
For improving the welfare of India’s Farming population we propose a solution to that is to build a website that will allow farmers to earn a fair price for their products without having to spend any more money on marketing or delivery. Farmers from rural areas can sell their products to different parts of country with basic knowledge of about how to use this website. Its like an interface which helps the farmer to sell their produce and connect with buyers across India. All they have to do is register on the website and sell their goods.
The aim of this website is to provide wider reach to the farmers.
