E-Voting System using Blockchain Technology

In recent years, the reliability and security of voting systems have become increasingly critical, especially in academic institutions and organizations that conduct elections for various purposes, such as student councils or faculty representatives. Traditional voting methods are often prone to manipulation, fraud, and inaccuracies, creating the need for a more secure, transparent, and efficient voting solution. To address these challenges, we have developed an innovative e-voting system leveraging blockchain technology to ensure transparency, security, and immutability in the voting process. The frontend of the system is designed using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript, offering an intuitive and user-friendly interface for both voters and administrators. On the backend, we employ blockchain protocols to securely record votes in a decentralized ledger, guaranteeing tamper-proof data and preventing any unauthorized access or alteration. The system also incorporates smart contracts to automate the voting and result tabulation processes, eliminating human errors and enhancing efficiency. Voters are provided with unique, cryptographic keys for authentication, ensuring that each individual can vote only once, thus eliminating the risk of duplicate voting. The system offers real-time vote tracking and ensures complete privacy for each participant, with all voting transactions being transparent and verifiable by authorized parties. By utilizing blockchain, this system provides an effective, secure, and highly reliable solution for conducting elections, making it ideal for universities, colleges, and other organizations seeking to streamline their electoral processes. This platform not only strengthens the credibility of the election process but also increases voter participation by offering a convenient, accessible, and trustworthy voting experience.
