Ecocritical Vision in P.P. Ramachandran’s Poems

The modernism that emerged in Malayalam poetry in the sixties denied romanticism. As a result a rough sentimentality was formed that sharply criticized the attenuated romantic sensibility. Modernity was philosophically aligned with existentialism and later favoured Marxism. Narendra Prasad satirically described it as the red tail of modernism.
