ABSTRACT

These primary elements in the soil, such as nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, are the principal nutrients that restrict crop yields in the field, as well as the nutrients that are of special significance for environmental quality. Soil health is influenced by a variety of different parameters, including pH, organic matter, salinity, potassium, sulphate, macronutrients, and microbial activity. Soil nutrient management is essential for nursery systems to maintain consistent production and high-quality soil. The effects of organic manure and chemical fertilizer treatments on soil, plant development, and tissue chemical properties were examined in the present work. Adding organic manure to the soil had the intended effect of improving pH and phosphorus, nitrogen, magnesium, calcium, and potassium concentrations in the soil. Consequently, the application of an NPK chemical fertilizer that reduced soil pH and exchangeable calcium levels, plant growth was impaired.
