Effectiveness of Life Skill Training Intervention on Academic Achievement of Students with Hearing Impairment

ABSTRACT

Life Skill Training can positively impact the educational achievement of Students with Hearing-Impairment. Life Skill Training can help these students feel more confident and equipped to handle communication challenges and social situations. This can lead to better academic performance, as well as improved mental health and overall well-being.Life Skill Training programs often include activities that focus on academic skills, such as problem-solving, critical thinking, and time management. These skills can be particularly important for Students with Hearing-Impairment who may face additional challenges in the classroom due to communication barriers. In this study,the researcher made an intervention to increase the level of academic achievement. This Quasi-experimental study showed improvement in academic achievement after introducing Life Skill Training Intervention among 35 Students with Hearing Impairment from special schools.
