ABSTRACT The study was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of teaching module on knowledge regarding collection, storage and use of human breast milk among antenatal mothers in government district head-quarters hospital at Aruppukottai. The quantitative, pre-experimental one-group pre-test and post-test design was used, involving 30 antenatal mothers selected through purposive sampling. A semi-structured questionnaire assessed knowledge before and after the intervention. After obtaining consent, pre-test was conducted, followed by the teaching module, and a post-test after 7 days. Results showed a significant improvement in knowledge (t=16.1, p=<0.05). Knowledge levels were associated with variable like age, Gravida, Trimester, Educational status and occupational status. The module was found to be effective.
