ABSTRACT : Although oral administration of pharmaceuticals is the most effective way to achieve the systemic effects of the treatment, formulation scientists have a major challenge due to limited drug solubility. One of the significant challenges in developing new active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and generic drugs is their poor aqueous solubility, which leads to weak absorption and low bioavailability. Therefore, enhancing the solubility and dissolution rate of these drugs is crucial. This study has investigated solubility and the solubilization process. The Class II compounds of the BCS (Biopharmaceutical Classification System) are poorly soluble. There are numerous types of variables covered, all of which have an impact on how soluble the medication is. To improve the solubility and bioavailability of medications that are poorly soluble, we use a variety of methods or techniques.
