Experimental Analysis on Use of Waste Plastic in Bituminous Mixes

ABSTRACT : The ultimate aim of this work is to study the use of waste plastic in bituminous mixes. The Regular increase in heavy traffic intensity in the terms of commercial vehicles and the variation in the daily and seasonal temperature demand the improvement in the binder composition and the property of the binder is to be improved because of the increase in demand for the heavy traffic which will be giving the strength to the bituminous mix to withstand effectively. In this research work, a comparative study has been made in between the normal bituminous mix and waste polythene bituminous mix with varying binder contents (2.5%-7.5%) to enhance the property of bituminous mixes using different test and also finds out Marshall Stability value, flow value etc.
