It takes about five to seven years for clove trees to mature and yield their first crop of flowers.The aromatic plant clove (Syzygium aromaticum L.), which is grown all over the world, has long been utilized for both medical and food preservation purposes.The fragrant flower buds of the Syzygium aromaticum tree, which belongs to the Myrtaceae family, are called cloves.It takes about five to seven years for clove trees to mature and yield their first crop of flowers.They are indigenous to Indonesia's Maluku islands, also known as the Moluccas, and are frequently used as spices. Manganese, a mineral that supports bone health and hormone production, is abundant in cloves.
