ABSTRACT

Refrigeration is the process of heat-removal from a space in order to bring it to a lower temperature than surrounding temperature. In this context, my  project work, “Fabrication of Thermoelectric Cooler” which works on thermo electric refrigeration, aims to provide cooling by using thermo electric effects rather than the more prevalent conventional methods like ‘vapour compression cycle’ or the ‘vapour absorption cycle’.

The objective of this present work is to fabricated and analyze the working of  Peltier refrigerator cooler. Scope of this work includes:

Study of the principles and working of Peltier refrigerator, working parameters, performance parameters of the same.

Exploring methods to improve the efficiency of the Peltier cooling systems and study the advancement in the field of thermo electrics. Studying the new heat sink designs, which improves the performance of the Peltier cooler.
