ABSTRACT
The COVID-19 also known as coronavirus is an outspreading crisis that has resulted in a large number of casualties and health concerns. People wear masks to cover their faces in order to minimize the outspread of the coronavirus virus. Due to act of carelessness by people for not wearing a mask, detection of facemask has become a necessity as well as a challenge due to Outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic. The model trained for scanning person’s faces and classifying them into two categories, that is, the people with faces covered with masks and people’s faces without masks is done with the use of computer vision (CNN), image processing along with deep learning. This paper emphasizes on face mask detection that can be used in order to make diminution, estimation, prevention, and action planning against COVID-19. The face mask identification in this review is established with a machine learning algorithm via the image classification method. The procedure for building the model is collecting the data, pre-processing, split the data, testing the model, and implement the model. Various libraries of python such as Open CV, Tensor flow and Keras are used for this purpose. With the assistance of this project, a person who is in charge to monitor the premises can be seated in a remote area and still can monitor safely and with efficiency, along with providing complete surveillance.
