ABSTRACT The newly emerging canteen automation systems revolutionize traditional canteen management, reducing waiting time and efficiency and customer experience through digital solutions. This paper introduces FoodFlexan automated canteen management system for food ordering, payment processing, and inventory management. FoodFlex is a system, which offers admin and user login, and allows the canteen manager to update menus, track sales, and monitor wallet balances and allows employees and students to view real-time menus, make purchases, and review transactions. It has been designed using a Java full stack approach, where JSP was used for the backend development, and MySQL for data management, to solve some of the problems associated with traditional canteen settings, such as overcrowding, slow service, and payment challenges. It not only brings convenience to the users but also to the operational process with automation and opens avenues for modern, technology-based canteen services.
