Formulation and Evaluation of Antidiabetic Herbal Syrup

ABSTRACT Diabetes also called as diabetes mellitus is a critical disorder which results in high sugar level in blood (high level of glucose in blood). It also characterized as hyperglycaemia.The purpose of this study was to create and evaluate a herbal anti-diabetic syrup made from several herbs believed to have antidiabetic properties. Based on available research and conventional knowledge, effective antidiabetic herbs were selected for the formulation.The present study is about the formation of anti-diabeticherbal syrup by using an extract of Banana blossom, Jamun seed and Ashwagandha. The goal of this study is to formulate the effective anti-diabetic herbal syrup. The formulations are formulated in 2 different quantities of active pharmaceutical ingredients and they named as F1, F2. The formulated herbal syrup is evaluated by using evaluations parameters.
