ABSTRACT The increasing demand for natural and effective hygiene products has led to the development of herbal sanitizers, utilizing the therapeutic properties of natural ingredients. This study focuses on formulating and evaluating a herbal hand sanitizer enriched with Aloe vera gel. Aloe vera, known for its antimicrobial, soothing, and moisturizing properties, serves as the primary active ingredient in the formulation. The sanitizer was developed using natural components to ensure safety and efficacy, reducing the potential for skin irritation associated with synthetic sanitizers. The formulated herbal sanitizer was evaluated for various parameters, including antimicrobial activity, pH, spreadability, drying time, and skin compatibility. The results demonstrated that the Aloe vera-based sanitizer effectively inhibited microbial growth while maintaining skin hydration. The pH of the formulation was found to be skin-friendly, and the product exhibited excellent spreadability and quick absorption. The study highlights the potential of herbal sanitizers as a natural alternative to conventional products, offering protection against pathogens while promoting skin health. This Aloe vera-based herbal sanitizer represents a safe, effective, and eco-friendly solution for maintaining personal hygiene.
