Formulation Development and Evaluation of Liquid Dosage Form Containing Suvarna Bhasma

ABSTRACT The present study focuses on the formulation and evaluation of a novel liquid dosage form containing Suvarna Bhasma a classical Ayurvedic Herbo-metallic preparation revered for its immunomodulatory and neuroprotective effects. The formulation aims to synergize the therapeutic potential of Suvarna Bhasma with Rasayana herbs including Ashwagandha, Brahmi, Shankhapushpi, Guduchi, and others to enhance cognitive function, immunity, and overall vitality. Designed primarily for pediatric, geriatric, and immunocompromised populations, the liquid form ensures improved patient compliance, faster onset of action, and superior bioavailability. The research involved detailed preparation steps including herbal decoction, incorporation of Suvarna Bhasma, and blending with ghee and honey for palatability and increased bio efficacy.
