Fruits and Vegetables Freshness Detection and Spoilage Alert System Iot

ABSTRACT
Fruits and vegetables constitutes a significant part of human diet habit for decades.In modern age with the increased diseases variant,people have become more curious about the natural and organic nutrition.As ffruits and vegetables are a good source of food and nutrition but the same time,they are also good hosts for microorganisms like bacteria and fungi too.Foods contaminated by microorganisms could cause serious health problems in addition to that, decayed fruits and vegetables create several problems during imports and exports,during their storage for food related companies and markets.This project focuses on monitoring freshness and determining fruits and vegetable spoilage inside the container.The objective is to design an electronic smelling and Ph detection system that will be sensitive to the gases emited by spoled fruits and vegetable samples and calculating the usage time and intimate the user via mobile web application.This sensor based device can be used in grocery shopping by consumers,by import and export quality controllers or by any food related factory.This device sensor could even be used for frozen food freshness.
